Heywood Painting on Auction

American Realist Anne Heywood’s painting “Sundown from Hull” is on auction at the Copley Society of Art, 158 Newbury St., Boston, on Thursday, May 3rd from 6:30 – 8:30 pm at the Copley Society’s 30th Annual Fresh Paint Gala. This original painting depicts the view of Boston’s skyline from the South Shore town of Hull at sunset. The Copley Society of Art is the oldest nonprofit art organization in the United States; Heywood earned the designation of Copley Artist in 2002. She is a signature member of the Pastel Society of America and the National Association of Women Artists, and was awarded the distinction of Eminent Pastelist in 2005 by the International Association of Pastel Societies. Her works are in collections in the US, Italy, China, Israel, the Netherlands, and other countries.
