Heywood Gallery Opens for ArtWalk Waldoboro 2018

We’re rolling out the carpet (literally!) and taking in the “closed” sign for 2018’s ArtWalk Waldoboro events! Join us at the Heywood Gallery this Saturday, June 9th, and every second Saturday

through October from 4 to 7 pm for a town-wide celebration of the arts. This year’s ArtWalk Waldoboro is special because there are more venues than ever participating.

The Heywood Gallery features American Realist Anne Heywood’s paintings of landscapes, still lifes, and custom pet portraits, plus prints and cards made from her original paintings. All is displayed in a historic 1800s house, former home to two Maine Governors and one famous woman educator. Information about these famous residents is on view along with Heywood’s artworks.
