Heywood Gallery Opens for Waldoboro Day

We are proud of our community and history, so we’re opening this Saturday, June 16th, between noon and 3 pm for Waldoboro Day! Stop by the gallery, enjoy the landscape paintings of American Realist Anne Heywood, many of which were inspired by Waldoboro’s beauty, along with still life paintings, custom pet portraits, prints, and notecards tastefully displayed throughout  the first floor of this historic building, home to three notable Maine-born residents. Bob Heywood, husband of the artist, will be greeting visitors and recounting the stories behind the paintings and the history of this local treasure.
