Pastel Pet Portrait Workshop

We do love our pets, and there is no better way to honor and remember a “special family member” than with a portrait, either to keep or to gift!

Have a fun weekend creating a pastel portrait of your own pet

(or someone else’s) by learning from a professional pet portrait artist. The first day begins with a demonstration of how to pick the pet’s best pose and complete the portrait’s underdrawing, followed by student painting time. The second day begins with a demonstration of how to paint the portrait with pastels, followed by student painting time. Step-by-step instruction with plenty of one-on-one guidance throughout the day. Return home with a great pet portrait that you painted!

This workshop takes place in a climate-controlled space, and provides easels, tables, and chairs. Bring your own painting materials; a suggested supply list is available online. Class size limited to eight students.
