New Award Announcement

The International Association of Pastel Societies (IAPS) recently informed me that I will be awarded their Eminent Pastelist designation at the Eleventh International Association of Pastel Societies Biennial Convention in Albuquerque, New Mexico this June.

Initiated in 2012, IAPS Eminent Pastelist status recognizes artists who have already achieved Master Circle status and have gone on to satisfy Eminent Pastelist criteria by earning awards and/or acceptances in IAPS juried exhibitions. To date there are two Eminent Pastelist recipients: Terri Ford and Frederick Somers, both American artists.

I am very grateful and humbled by this honor, and look forward to many more years of creating with pastels
